This winery has been certified as a sustainable winery in California and has awarded prices since 2007 for their broad number of wines.

The History
Forty years ago, in Dry Creek Valley, David Stare found the Dry Creek Winery in the north of Sonoma county. By the inspiration of Loraine valleys, he once got the idea of building a viticultural center. The orchard started with the Sauvignon Blanc, being the beginning of a prominent future of the wine industry.

The risky step that David dear to take was just the beginning of a remarkable industry, starting this way his family winery tradition. That tradition leads the following generations the wine heritage. Legacy and passion are just words compared with the spirit and dedication this family invest on this vineyard.

The Facilities
The tasting room that Dry Creek Winery daily offers to visitor counts with an extensive range of wines from the signature wines to the selections from the wine club. Those visits to the tasting room are made with a previous reservation and paying o moderate price per person.

Also, they offer a particular service where they guide tourists through what they call the first tasting experience: The Meritage, wherein a private place inside the cellar they teach the art of the famous Bordeaux mix, that way people have the needed tools to prepare their own blend, of course, like everything, this experience has a price, 45 dollars per person, and according to some visitors' opinion a small price for such an incredible expertise.
But the tasting experience is not the only thing that this amazing winery offers. It also has excellent facilities to make the stay of travelers an unforgettable experience, including a picnic field pet-friendly where besides enjoying the sight seen tourists can spend a fun and beautiful time with friends and family.

Now, after so many years, Dry Creek Winery still continues building the established values with the same commitment to producing a high quality wine, combining the best nature friendly techniques of plantation with sophisticated methods brought by this new generation on the winery.
